Fantastic, this place is a hidden gem and we are so glad we found it. The location is stunning, but the hosts are just the loveliest, friendliest and most welcoming people in the world. We had an unforgettable stay at Romey's. The food was amazing, the atmosphere amazing and we just had the best night. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, everyone should stay here....!!!

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The owners of the gutesthouse where super friendly, i felt like home there. They helped me with the planning of short trips around the peninsula, gave me a lot of tipps and answered all my questions. If i could, i would have stayed much longer! The village is very calm and peaceful, and with a short trainride you can go to all the other villages and places around the peninsula. I really enjoyed my stay here! Best guesthouse in japan!

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine. There was a great small onsen right around the corner, the shower was great, we loved the capsule beds. I could have used a little thicker mats, but really nice. The staff was amazing.

The staff was so kind and really listening to what you need. the food was amazing and the place is so cosy and chill, just 3 min next to the beach. you can even get some body board for free !

Guest House Tokiwa offers dorm beds and affordable Japanese-style private rooms, free WiFi, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen. Located in Fujinomiya City, the closest town to Mt. Family house with a lot of room. Beds were very confortable, and kitchen was well equipped. Great location to catch bus to mt. fuji (3 min walk to both bus station and train station). Staff were great.
